Digital Citizenship And Digital Access



 
1.2 .1 Digital Access – is the full electronic participation in society, in other words, the society                should have an access to the digital technology, specifically technologies that are free, like the internet.
            It is a vital element not only for the society but for the industrial as well as the private and  public organisation in terms of increasing their businesses. (Anon., 2015)
1.2.2 Digital Commerce – electronic selling and buying of goods and services through digital          channels. It can also be defined as a type of e-commerce used by the companies that delivers and sells products. It incorporate the entire process of developing, marketing, servicing, selling and ultimately paying for products. (Anon., 2015)

1.2.3 Digital Communication – It is the electronic exchange of information. It also the ability to create    persuasive communications in different media, like websites, video and audio. It is also a communication by computers. (Anon., 2015)

1.2.4 Digital Literacy – It is the ability to use information and communication technologies to  find, evaluate, create and communicate information, requiring both cognitive and technical  skills. It is also known as the knowledge , skills and conducts used in a broad range of digital   devices like smartphones , computers and notepad . (Anon., 2015)

1.2.5 Digital Etiquette – is a basic set of rules pertaining to behaviour that needs to be followed to   ensure the internet is better for all users. It can also be described as the use of good manners  in online communication. (Anon., 2015)

1.2.6 Digital Law – is the electronic responsibility for actions, deeds which is either ethical or         unethical. (Anon., 2015)

1.2.7    1.2.7 Digital Rights and Responsibilities – are the privileges and freedom extended to all digital    technology users, and the behavioural expectations that come with them. (Anon., 2015)
1.2.8 Digital Health and Wellness – Physical and Psychological wellbeing in a digital                                 technological world. (Anon., 2015)

1.2.9 Digital Security – Electronic precautions to guarantee digital safety. It is also a security of                 the digital identity like the network or internet equivalent of the physical identity. (Anon.,2015)
